CyberKnife® Treatments

What types of tumour or neurosurgical treatments can be given?
CyberKnife is cleared with the FDA (the US medical regulatory authority) to treat tumours and lesions anywhere in the body when radiation treatment is indicated. The principal treatments offered by the CyberKnife system are as follows.
Brain
CyberKnife for tumours of teh brain and eye
When conventional therapy has been insufficient
CyberKnife treatments can sometimes be performed after conventional therapy, if the tumour could not be controlled. This is an important advantage as there may be no other option for some of these patients.
Where can I find clinical evidence of CyberKnife® treatments?
The CyberKnife system is based on radiation technology that has been proven for 30 years. Thousands of patients have received CyberKnife treatments worldwide, and many clinical studies with the CyberKnife have been published in medical journals.
How to be assessed for treatment
Visit the CyberKnife Patients page. There you will find details of how to apply for assessment at a choice of CyberKnife centres, without cost or commitment.
