Klinik Hirslanden, Zurich, Switzerland
Klinik Hirslanden is the flagship hospital of Switzerland's largest private healthcare provider and the Movement Clinic is concerned with all aspects of the human movement apparatus: bones, joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments.
Changes in these may be congenital or the result of disease or 'wear and tear', or may arise from accidental injuries.
Precise three-dimensional bone models are developed, e.g. during the implantation of hip and knee total endoprostheses. These enable the surgeons to place implants more precisely, with improved outcome for the patient.
